Premier League

Norwich have the Wolf and it was fitting as they certainly huffed and puffed at the Hull defence last time around that played for over an hour with 10 men. A 6-3 victory over Bury in the League Cup will have helped boost morale a little and they can make Southampton pay at Carrow Road on Saturday.

The Saints won just three on the road last season and have had late goals to thank for four points against West Brom and Sunderland and while a good side they should by no means be favourites at 8/5 (BETVICTOR/william hill). The Canaries lost just four times at home last season and three of these came against Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City. Southampton should be taken on then and the way I would recommend doing so is the 11/10 (paddy Power) in the draw no bet market. Both sides did draw quite a few games last season so you want to keep that result on your side.

West Ham are another side who look value on Saturday to get something from their home game with Stoke. The visitors have won just one of their last 12 away games in the Premier League and have not won any of their last four against the London side. The Hammers have started the season well keeping two clean sheets while the Potters just about saw off Crystal Palace. Sam Allardyce has his team prepared to thrive in games like these winning six of their ten games against bottom half sides last season. The Potters won just twice away from home last season so take the evens (GENERAL) on a home victory.

Cardiff fans must be thinking this Premier League life is easy after seeing off Man City 3-2 last weekend. The Bluebirds know that if they beat Everton it will be the first time since 1962 that they have won back-to-back to flight games and it is 23/10 (SKYBET) a Cardiff win. The Toffees have drawn their two games so far this season and it is 12/5 (GENERAL) that this one also ends all square while Everton to gain their first away victory in the league since January 2nd is 11/8 (bet365/boylesports/BETVICTOR). The best bet in this game comes in the anytime market where Seamus Coleman is a very generous 12/1 (paddy Power) to score. The full-back has already managed a goal and an assist this season and gets into attacking positions a lot. Coleman is averaging two shots per game which is almost as many as the striker Jelavic.

Fulham have won their last two away games from home and will seek to make it three for the first time since May 2008 when they visit Newcastle. The London outfit have already success on their travels to the North East this season beating Sunderland 1-0 on the opening day of the season before being outclassed by Arsenal 3-1 last weekend. It is 11/4 (bet365) a Fulham victory while the draw is available at 5/2 (SKYBET/BETVICTOR).

The home side have won each of the last five Premier League meetings between the pair and the Magpies are 23/20 (GENERAL) for victory. The best bet has to be NO in the both teams to score market at 11/10 (GENERAL). The Magpies have managed just one shot on target while Fulham have failed to find the net in eight of their last 14 away games so this looks the way to play this game.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Norwich in draw bet no market, 11/10 (paddy power)
SILVER: West Ham to beat Stoke, evens (GENERAL)
BRONZE: Seamus Coleman to score anytime v Cardiff, 12/1 (paddy power)
