Liverpool could theoretically move back into the top four with a victory at home to Burnley in tomorrow night`s 20:00 kick-off. The Merseyside club are just two points off Manchester United and three points behind Arsenal in third and could make the leap to join them level on points should they see off the struggling side and United lose away at Newcastle. A defeat for the Reds on the other hand would allow Southampton to move into their fifth position, the Hampshire club sitting just two points behind Brendan Rodgers` men in sixth.

Burnley are one of three clubs stuck on 22 points and sit in the relegation zone merely on goal difference. A win could see them move to as high as 17th, thereby escaping the drop zone for a week, whilst a loss at the hands of Liverpool could see them three points adrift of safety should other results also go against them.

The two sides have met just once so far in this campaign, their Turf Moor encounter back in December ending in a 1-0 victory for tomorrow night`s hosts. Neither side was able to break the deadlock in the first half though Raheem Sterling put the Scousers ahead in the 62nd minute. Despite periods of pressure Burnley were unable to find themselves an equaliser as the Reds failed to capitalise on their dominance.

Betvictor have the best price of 15/2 on Rodgers` men fighting out another 1-0 victory over Sean Dyche`s side at home tomorrow whilst Bwin`s 11/2 says that just one goal will be scored in the entirety of the match. Both betfair and paddy Power have odds of 5/1 on Sterling managing to provide the opener for a second time against Burnley. A Clarets first half clean sheet can be picked up at the best price of 6/4 at both betway and Stan James.

Liverpool are the favourites to do the double over their Lancashire rivals at Anfield tomorrow evening. A number of different bookmakers have installed the Reds at a price of 2/5. A draw is considered to be the second most likely outcome with Betbright offering odds of 43/10 whilst an away win is up for grabs at 9/1, again at a number of betting establishments.

The hosts have picked up 10 points from their last five Premier League games and have not tasted defeat in the top division of English football since a 2-1 loss at home to Chelsea back in November. The Merseyside club has scored at least two goals a match in all of their last six league clashes at Anfield and are available at odds of 6/4 with Coral to hit the back of the net over 2.5 times tomorrow.

Having successfully converted three penalties, Steven Gerrard is the club`s in-form scorer in these games and is available at the best price of 11/4 (betfair) to add to his tally at any time tomorrow. william hill`s 3/1 says that there will be a penalty awarded in the match-up.

Burnley drew away at Premier League table toppers Chelsea in their last encounter on the road though this is only one of three points that they have earned from a maximum of 15 in their last five games. In the clarets favour, however, is the fact that they have scored in four of these five matches on their travels and evens (betfair) says that both teams will score tomorrow.

The last time the visitors kept a clean sheet away from Turf Moor in the Premier League was back in September in a goalless draw with Crystal Palace.
