Tomorrow`s early Premier League kick-off sees Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal play out the North London derby, the 12:15 fixture being hosted by the Whites at White Hart Lane. A win for the home side would see them replace their closest rivals in fifth position whilst a win would see the Gunners extend their points lead over Mauricio Pochettino`s men by five, potentially moving up to as high as third.

The last time the two teams met was in the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium. Taking place back in September, the match-up ended tied, 1-1. With the first half ending goalless, it took 56 minutes for either side to break the deadlock, Nacer Chadli putting the away team into the lead. The spoils were shared as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain bagged a goal in the 74th minute to restore the equilibrium.

Despite this, Arsenal`s superior league placing means that they are the favourites to take away all three points from tomorrow`s clash. Most bookmakers have installed Arsene Wenger`s men at 13/10 to secure a win tomorrow. william hill have priced up Spurs at 23/10 whilst a second successive draw between the two teams can be backed at 13/5 (Betvictor, boylesports, Skybet, Stan James).

Thirteen-to-two with a trio of turf accountants (Betvictor, betway, william hill) says that the match will end tied at 1-1 in an exact repeat of the two sides` last meeting.

In spite of their favouritism, Arsenal`s recent way form in the Premier League has been mixed, only managing to secure seven points from their last five games on the road.

This form stretches back to the beginning of December when second half goals from Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsay couldn`t help the Gunners to claim even a draw against Stoke after the Potters bagged three in the first half.

Mathieu Debuchy and Olivier Giroud hit the back of the net either side of the half time whistle against Liverpool, earning themselves a point in the 2-2 draw. This was prior to the Gunners scoring another two goals in only their first away win of December, Cazorla and Danny Welbeck scoring in their 2-1 victory over West Ham United at Upton Park.

Wenger`s side couldn`t help but fall to a 2-0 defeat at high-flying Southampton before scoring two without reply at reigning champions Manchester City, Cazorla and Giroud with the goals.

Having bagged exactly two goals in four of these games on their travels, Arsenal are 14/5 to grab exactly the same amount of goals against Tottenham tomorrow. With three goals to his name, Santi Cazorla is the Gunners top scorer from these matches and can be backed at 7/2 (betfred, Coral, Totesport) to grab a goal at any time in Saturday`s early kick-off. The Reds will be under pressure to score from different areas after top goalscorer Alexis Sanchez was ruled out following his failure to recover from a hamstring injury.

Tottenham are undefeated in six league games at home, this run stretching back to their 2-1 win over Everton at White Hart Lane at the end of November. Christian Eriksen and Roberto Soldado hit the back of the net before half time after Kevin Mirallas put the Blues in front.

This was followed by a goalless draw with Crystal Palace and another 2-1 win, this time over struggling Burnley. Harry Kane and Erik Lamela were on target for Spurs in this match before recording another goalless draw at home to Manchester United.

Kane grabbed a brace, Andros Townsend converted a penalty and Danny Rose and Nacer Chadli all grabbed goals in a shock 5-3 win over league leaders Chelsea in January prior to Spurs` last Premier League game, a 2-1 victory over Sunderland.

Pochettino`s side went ahead thanks to an own goal from John O`Shea before Eriksen sealed the win two minutes from time.

Spurs have secured two clean sheets in their last five home matches, that beats Arsenal`s record away from home. The home team are 6/1 with Coral to win to nil tomorrow. The Whites` top scorer Harry Kane is 11/1 with unibet to score another brace.
