Leicester City will host Crystal Palace tomorrow, the visitors having fallen to their first defeat under new manager Alan Pardew last time out at home to Everton. A win for bottom side Leicester could theoretically see them escape the relegation zone, they being three points from safety. Meanwhile, Palace could further pull away from the drop zone, a potential tally of 26 points putting them seven points from the final relegation place.

The last time the two clubs met was back in September when the Neil Warnock led Eagles recorded a 2-0 home victory over the Premier League new boys, putting an end to their three game unbeaten streak.

Selhurst Park was unmoved for the opening 45 minutes, the game goalless upon the referee`s half time whistle. Two goals in three minutes gave Palace what was to be an unsurpassable buffer, however, as Fraizer Campbell and Mile Jedinak netted six and nine minutes into the second half.

Despite the combination of this former glory and Palace`s superior league position, it is the East Midlands club who are the favourites to snatch the three points at home. Nigel Pearson`s men can be backed at 6/4 with Betvictor.

Most bookmakers are offering odds of 23/10 on the match ending tied tomorrow whilst a win for Pardew`s Eagles is 12/5 with Coral. Indeed, an identical 2-0 win for Palace is available at 17/1 at Betvictor.

Leicester overcame a sequence of 13 league matches without a victory by putting Aston Villa to the sword at the King Power Stadium back in January. Defender Paul Konchesky scored the only goal in that game and is 40/1 with Betvictor and paddy Power to break the deadlock once again.

This clash saw last year`s Championship winners unbeaten in 2015, following a draw at Liverpool in the league and a 1-0 dispatching of Newcastle in the FA Cup third round. City came back from being 2-0 down away at Liverpool thanks to goals from David Nugent and Jeffrey Schlupp whilst it was top scorer Leonardo Ulloa who grabbed the only goal against Newcastle.

Since this short unbeaten run, Nigel Pearson couldn`t mastermind a victory over Stoke, the Blues losing 1-0 at home in the league before winning in the FA Cup away at Spurs (2-1) and losing away at Old Trafford, 3-1 being the score against Manchester United. Both Schlupp and Ulloa saw City progress in the cup by getting their second goals in five games whilst Marcin Wasilewski`s goal was a mere consolation against the Reds.

Leicester`s top scorers in January, Ulloa and Schlupp are 9/4 (Bwin) and 7/1 (paddy Power) respectively to add to their tallies again tomorrow.

Crystal Palace have picked up four wins and a loss in all competitions since the appointment of Alan Pardew as manager. The former Eagles player oversaw his new club`s progression through to the fifth round of the FA Cup with wins over Conference side Dover (4-0) and Premier League high-flyers Southampton (3-2) whilst also securing top tier victories over Spurs (2-1) and Burnley (3-2).

With the team`s aforementioned 1-0 defeat at Everton last time out the only time under Pardew that Palace have failed to score at least two goals, the away side can be backed at 9/1 with Coral to score over 2.5 tomorrow. The club`s top scorer of this new era is Dwight Gayle, having hit the target four times in five matches of the ex-Newcastle man`s reign. The winger is 20/1 with boylesports to score two or more goals in a match for the third time this season.

With both teams in somewhat potent form at the minute 10/11 (Coral, william hill) says both teams will score tomorrow.
