Aston Villa`s mid-week victory over West Bromwich Albion has seen Queens Park Rangers drop back into the relegation zone, three points adrift of Tim Sherwood`s Villa though boasting a far superior goal difference and a game in hand. This game in hand will be played out tomorrow, Chris Ramsay`s side hosting London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Loftus Road.

Spurs currently sit in seventh position after the mid-week matches but will move into sixth and be just one point behind fifth placed Liverpool should they be able to claim a win over Rangers. Something of a surprise loss would see them remain in seventh but put their Champions League and Europa League claims at further risk.

This will be the second meeting between the two sides this season, the London teams having met at Spurs` White Hart Lane back in August. The visitors, then under the reign of Harry Redknapp, were comprehensively beaten, failing to bag a goal as Tottenham hit four.

Nacer Chadli broke the deadlock for the Whites just 10 minutes into the first half in what was to be the first of two goals for the Belgian star. Eric Dier added a second slap-bang on the half-hour mark before Chadli completed his brace just seven minutes from the half-time whistle.

Only one goal was to be scored in the second 45, that coming from Emmanuel Adebayor in the 65th minute. Mauricio Pochettino`s men are priced at 35/1 (Betvictor) to record another 4-0 thrashing over the 18th placed side. Chadli is available at 20/1 (unibet) to hit another two or more past Robert Green in the Rs` net.

Indeed it is the away side who are the favourites to take the three points away from Loftus Road. Spurs are odds-on at all bookmakers but can be found at 17/20 - the best price - at sportingbet. The bookies consider a draw to be the next most likely outcome with boylesports having 3/1 on the match being tied after 90 minutes. Otherwise, the home side can be backed at a price of 19/5, available at betfair, Betvictor and boylesports.

Rangers are currently without a win in their last five Premier League home matches, picking up two points from the 15 up for grabs. These two draws came against Crystal Palace (0-0) and Swansea (1-1) back in late December/ early January which means that Ramsay`s side have not picked up any amount of points in their last three.

What`s more, the strugglers have only scored two goals in these last five home matches, Leroy Fer grabbing the opener in their draw against Swansea and Charlie Austin hitting a consolation against Arsenal last time out. Whilst 1/2 (betfred, ladbrokes) says that QPR will score over 0.5 goals, 7/4 (Spreadex) is the price on them scoring over 1.5 at home. A Spurs win to nil is available at 23/10 at Betvictor.

Tottenham have picked up nine points in their last five top tier games on the road and have scored 10 goals in these games. With an average of two goals a games, punters can get odds of 5/6 at sportingbet on the side hitting over 1.5 in tomorrow`s 15:00 kick-off.

Harry Kane has been responsible for six of these recent away goals with Christian Eriksen bagging another three. The only other player to have contributed a goal has been Mousa Dembele. Kane opened the scoring on three of these five recent occasions and can be backed at 4/1 (Betvictor, Coral) to break the deadlock again tomorrow. Eriksen was twice responsible for hitting the final goal and is a 13/2 shout with most bookmakers to offer the same again.

Six-to-one (betfred, Stan James, Totesport) says Dembele can hit the back of the net at any time.
