EVERTON V WEST HAM Saturday 1st March, 15:00, non live
West Ham have hit a run of form at the right time and a four game unbeaten streak has seen them climb into the top half of the table. Everton meanwhile have slipped to seventh and find themselves too far off the pace in the FA Cup. The Toffees are the 8/15 (bet365/BETVICTOR) favourites for the game with the draw available at 10/3 (GENERAL) and the away win at 13/2 (GENERAL). I think you could make a case for the visitors and the draw in the double chance market though I will not be getting involved as the Merseysiders are tough to beat at home losing just one of last 21 at home in the Premier League.
Instead I will look to a side market where Kevin Nolan should not be as big as 13/1 (BETVICTOR/888 SPORT/unibet) to score first or 9/2 (TOTESPORT/betfred) to net at anytime. The Hammers midfielder has six in his last seven league appearances.
RECOMMENDATION: Nolan to score first, 13/1 (BETVICTOR/888 SPORT/unibet)
Nolan to score anytime, 9/2 (TOTESPORT/betfred)
FULHAM V CHELSEA Saturday 1st March, 15:00, non live
It is unclear as to what Jose Mourinho and Felix Magath think of each other though the chances are two such fiery characters will likely come to some sort of dispute on Saturday. Chelsea are 9/20 (GENERAL) for the victory as they have won three and drawn one of their last four. That draw at West Brom along with a long trip to and from Turkey in midweek are the reasons I can not be backing them at short odds. Instead I think Fulham might be worth siding with on the Asian Handicap receiving a start of 1.0. The London side have drawn with Man United recently and only lost by goal against Liverpool and showed against West Brom last weekend a strong defence against sustained Baggies pressure. This bet will pay out if Fulham grab the win or draw and refund stakes if the game ends in a one goal loss.
RECOMMENDATION: Fulham +1.0 on Asian Handicap v Chelsea, 15/13 (BETVICTOR)
HULL V NEWCASTLE Saturday 1st March, 15:00, non live
Geordie Steve Bruce will be looking to complete the double of the team he supported as a child, Newcastle. Hull and Bruce have gone better than nearly all expected this season but they must continue to put points on the board and the Tigers are 29/20 (bet365/BETVICTOR) to beat a Magpies side who look out of sorts. True the North Easteners did beat Aston Villa but the performance was abject and 23/10 (bet365/BETVICTOR) offers no appeal. The draw is an option at 9/4 (GENERAL).
I would look to one of the side markets here and NO in the both teams to score market as this would have paid in eight of last nine Hull league games while the Magpies look devoid of creative ideas since the loss of Yohan Cabaye.
RECOMMENDATION: NO in both teams to score, 9/10 (STAN JAMES/WINNER)
STOKE V ARSENAL Saturday 1st March, 15:00, non live
Arsenal were magnificent in defeating Sunderland 4-1 last weekend and are 8/11 (bet365) to see off Stoke on Saturday. The Gunners will find the Potters much tougher opponents though who will not allow them anywhere near as much time and space. Stoke have already taken 21 points at their own ground this season and the draw is available 14/5 (GENERAL) while the Midlands side to take all three points is a standout 5/1 (TOTESPORT/STAN JAMES).
The last six Premier League games at the Britannia have seen both teams score and this includes meetings with Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea so get involved here.
RECOMMENDATION: Yes both teams to score, 21/20 (betfair SPORTSBOOK)
