Call The Cops will be looking to close day one of the meeting in some style, the Nicky Henderson Pertemps Network Final winner looking to take home his first graded race in tomorrow`s Grade Three Injured Jockeys Fund Handicap Hurdle. The six-year-old favourite will be just one of 22 horses lining up to take on the 3m event and follow in the footsteps of former winners Battle Group (2011, 2013), Cape Tribulation (2012) and Doctor Harper (2014).

Should the lightly raced son of Presenting successfully capture the final race of the day at Aintree, he will record a hat-trick of victories, his Pertemps triumph being preceded by a 3m class two race at Doncaster.

In jockey Andrew Tinkler, the Lambourn team have a rider who knows this horse inside out and that can only strengthen his chances in this Grade Three. Indeed, Call The Cops looks progressive - and impressive - enough and should be able to secure this handicap should he be able to cope with racing in his third race in the space of three months. The only other concern for this Matt and Lauren Morgan owned charge is that whilst he has picked up two wins on soft ground in the early stages of his career (once on the flat and once in his debut hurdling season) most of his recent good form has come on good ground. Consequentially, he may not find it fast enough tomorrow.

Those punters willing to look beyond the expected conditions and his unsuitability will receive odds of 7/1 at bet365 and a number of other bookmakers.

Call The Cops is just one of four Henderson horses in the race, his stablemates being top weight Bear`s Affair (28/1 - bet365, Betvictor, Coral), Dawalan (20/1 - Numerous) and novice Hammersly Lake (also 20/1 - Numerous).

Like Henderson, last year`s winning trainer David Pipe is also well represented with three runners. Alongside outsiders Bygone Sovereign (33/1 - Numerous) and Serienschock (20/1-bet365), Pipe saddles the second-favourite Unique De Cotte who was just over a length from taking home the Pertemps Final trophy himself. On that occasion, Call The Cops carried 3lbs more than the runner-up though tomorrow the difference will be 4lbs in Pipe`s entrant`s favour.

Prior to his relative success in this listed race, Unique De Cotte managed to secure a Cheltenham victory on his first outing of the season before picking up an Ascot win in February. These runs came at 21f and 19f respectively, he being less successful when asked to go the full 3m. It will be interesting to see whether the JP McManus runner will take a step down in trip next season or whether he will carrying on showing progression tomorrow.

Finishing first past the post here would be Unique De Cottes first graded win though the conditions should be in his favour. As a result, the son of Voix Du Nord can be picked up at the best price of 8/1 at almost all bookmakers.

Unlike the two previously mentioned handlers, Gordon Elliott just has the one entrant in this race, saddling Taglietelle. The six-year-old performed well when securing fourth place in the Coral Cup at the Festival but will need to show instant improvement on his reappearance, he taking on 3m for the first time.

Bet365 have 9/1 on a win for the Olduvai Syndicate charge.

Of the remainder, JP McManus has another three runners besides Unique De Cotte, the owner also seeing Join The Clan (26/1 - Betbright), Master Malt (16/1 - bet365) and Regal Encore (14/1 - Numerous) all line up.
