January 20th 2013 and Rafa Benitez masterminded a 2-1 victory over Arsenal that saw his Chelsea side go third while defeat saw Arsenal fall to sixth some seven points from the Champions League places. Fast forward nine months and the Gunners have not looked back going on a run of form that has seen them win 22, draw four and lose four of their 30 games.

Arsenal are available at 11/10 (BETVICTOR/william hill) for the victory. Rafa Bentiez lies in wait once more and this time he has in charge of Serie A side Napoli. The Italians have had a great start to the season winning five and drawing one of their six domestic games while in Europe they defeated Dortmund in their opener.

I think Rafa Benitez can help his team get something out of this game and I recommend taking them with an 0.5 start on the Asian Handicap which will pay out at 13/15 (188 BET) if Napoli win or draw this game.

It has been a tough few weeks for Jose Mourinho at Chelsea after defeats at Everton in the Premier League and at home to Basel in the Champions League. At half-time against Tottenham at the weekend they looked in big trouble at 1-0 down in a game being dominanted by the North London side. The second-half though saw Chelsea come right back and they were in the ascendancy before the controversial sending-off of Fernando Torres. The Blues can take heart from that performance and I like them to get something from this.

Steaua looked awful against Schalke when losing their opener 3-0 and despite a good run of form in their domestic league I am not convinced that they are good enough to finish anything but fourth in this group. They did beat Chelsea here in the Europa League last season though the London side did progress through on aggregate. Take Jose Mourinho and his side to get the much needed three points at 4/5 (GENERAL).

Few people will give Celtic a chance when they entertain Barcelona but the Glasgow side will quietly believe they can spring a huge shock. After all they beat the Catalans last season and the injury to Lionel Messi will also be a massive boost for the home team. It is 9/1 (GENERAL) that Celtic repeat their achievements of last season when seeing off Barcelona while the draw is a 5/1 (TOTESPORT) chance. I think the Spanish side will come out on top as even without Messi they have a number of talented players though odds of 4/9 (william hill) do not inspire me and as such I will swerve this game and look at some others.

Of the five remaining games the bet I like comes in the game between Porto and Atletico Madrid in Portugal which should be a cracker and I recommend Diego Costa to score at anytime . The Atletico frontman has scored seven goals in eight games and prices of 11/4 (BETVICTOR) to score anytime look value against Porto.

Zenit should have no trouble seeing off Austria Vienna in the early game (5:00,SKY) though odds of 2/7 (GENERAL) offer no appeal on the Russians. The bet in this game comes in the anytime scorer market where Oleg Shatov looks value at 5/1 (CORAL) considering he has netted three in his last two. The same player is as short as 7/4 in some places but be sure to check for team news first to see that the Russian is selected.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: NAPOLI on the Asian Handicap +0.5, 13/15 (188 BET)
SILVER: CHELSEA to beat Steaua Bucharest, 4/5 (GENERAL)
BRONZE: DIEGO COSTA to score anytime v Porto, 11/4 (BETVICTOR)
