Tottenham will move into third position with a win away at Liverpool tomorrow night (20:00), third and fourth placed clubs Southampton and Manchester United facing West Ham and Burnley on Wednesday. Spurs currently sit in the Europa League position but are just one point ahead of their North London rivals Arsenal and will be in danger of being usurped should they lose at Anfield on Tuesday.

Last season`s Premier League runners-up Liverpool will go level on points with Arsenal should they win and the Gunners lose their game against bottom side Leicester City. This would mean that they too would end the day just one point off Spurs, and two off the Champions League places, keeping their hopes of playing European football next season alive.

The two teams last met on the last day of August, the Reds sealing a comprehensive 3-0 success away at White Hart Lane. Raheem Sterling opened the scoring in the first 10 minutes with what was to be the only goal of the half. Steven Gerrard doubled his side`s advantage just minutes into the second 45 before Alberto Moreno put the icing on the cake for Brendan Rodgers` men.

Consequentially, Liverpool are the 10/11 favourites with Betvictor to do the double over the Whites tomorrow, though it is a massive 19/1 with the same bookmaker should you think that the Scousers can win 3-0 once again. A draw is available at a price of 29/10 with bet365 and boylesports whilst a Spurs win can be backed at 7/2. This price is available at betfred, Coral and Totesport.

The Merseyside Reds are currently unbeaten in nine games at home in all competitions, their last Anfield defeat coming back in November in a 2-1 loss at the hands of league leaders Chelsea in the Premier League.

Of these nine games, Liverpool kept four clean sheets and conceded seven goals, less than one a game. As a result, Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is 2/1 with Coral to keep a clean sheet whilst a home win to nil has been priced up at 13/5 with the same bookmaker. ladbrokes` 7/10 says both teams will score tomorrow night.

Out-going captain Gerrard is the club`s top scorer over this period, having bagged three goals in these nine home games. The former England international is 9/1 (ladbrokes, william hill) to break the deadlock and 3/1 (betfred, Spreadex, Totesport) to hit the back of the net at any time tomorrow. Gerrard is also Liverpool`s joint-top scorer for the season alongside nine-time scorer Sterling who is 7/4 with betfred, Bwin and Totesport to score at any time.

Spurs are currently on a high after seeing off local rivals Arsenal in their North London Derby at White Hart Lane at the weekend. Harry Kane scored both goals and is 14/1 with ladbrokes to grab another two or more against Liverpool for Mauricio Pochettino`s side. The 21-year-old has scored at least a brace in four matches in all competitions this season and also contributed a brace in his side`s previous league game against West Bromwich Albion. Christian Eriksen was also on target in the 3-0 victory.

Away from home, Tottenham have got off to a less than impressive start this year, only managing a 1-1 draw against struggling Burnley in the FA Cup before losing 2-1 to Crystal Palace days later in the league. A 2-2 draw was recorded against Sheffield United in the League Cup semi-final, a tie the Whites won over two legs, prior to the Albion victory.

Having bagged both goals in the draw with the League One Blades, Eriksen is his side`s top scorer in these away games of 2015. He is 11/1 (betfair, Spreadex) to provide the opener tomorrow.
