Have you heard that Belgium have some good Footballers? I am not sure if anybody has mentioned it in the media. The darlings for the World Cup still have to get there first though they are three points clear with three games to go. You can get 2/5 (SKYBET/paddy Power/CORAL) Belgium while Croatia are 5/2 (bet365/188 BET) to top the group.
Italy are four points clear in Group B and are 1/12 (paddy Power) to finish top. The race is on behind them for the second spot. BETVICTOR have both Bulgaria and the Czech Republic as 5/4 chances. It is Bulgaria who have the advantage as they have one point more than the Czechs and will be at home when these sides meet in what could be a decider.
In Group C it is Germany who are coasting on 16 points while Austria, the Republic of Ireland and Sweden are all on 11 points. It is likely to come down to the results of the games between the three with Sweden 11/10 (BWIN) to finish second, Austria 2/1 (BETVICTOR) and the Republic of Ireland at 13/5 (BWIN). The introduction of Wes Hoolahan has given Ireland a creative edge that they were lacking before and they have home advantage in the crucial game with Sweden. Take the 13/5 on the boys in Green.
Six games six wins, 20 goals scored, two against, the Netherlands are coasting en-route to the World Cup. The battle in Group D then is for second spot and Hungary hold the prime position just one point ahead of Romania and four ahead of Turkey. Romania are 3/4 (BWIN) a top two finish while Hungary are 3/1 (BETVICTOR) and Turkey are 7/2 (BWIN). I think at this price it has to be worth a little interest on Hungary to qualify.
Switzerland are four points clear in Group E thanks to a late goal against Cyprus. It is 1/4 (paddy Power) that the Swiss top the group with the race for second coming down to Albania, Iceland and Norway. Albania at 10/3 (BETVICTOR) look the value for a top two finish as they are the side in pole position.
In Group F Portugal are two points clear from Russia though the latter have two games in hand and should finish top. Israel and Portugal do battle in October and the winner of that game is likely to finish second. You can get 6/1 (BETVICTOR) that Israel finish second.
Greece are 5/2 (188 BET) to win Group G and have three of four coming at home and one away game to Liechtenstein. The problem is that Bosnia are three points ahead and have a superior goal difference.
England are 8/15 (BETVICTOR/paddy Power) to win Group H as they sit two points behind Montenegro with a game and hand and a point ahead of Ukraine who have played the same amount of games. Ukraine are 11/4 (william hill) to win the group.
Group I is between Spain and France and Spain are unlikely to let their one point advantage split in their three remaining games (away to Finland and at home to Belarus and Georgia).
BEST OF THE BETS
GOLD: Republic of Ireland to finish top two in Group C, 13/5 (BWIN)
SILVER: Hungary to finish top two in Group D, 3/1 (BETVICTOR)
BRONZE: Albania to finish top two in Group E, 10/3 (BETVICTOR)
