Despite being classed as a friendly match, Belgium and Iceland face off in Brussels for what is an important match as both teams build up for their UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying games still to come this week.

Belgium have only played two matches so far in their qualifying group but have started strongly with a big home win over Andorra, as would have been expected and a draw away to Bosnia and Herzegovina, a trip that is sure to result in dropped points for many of the teams in Group B.

The Red Devils will be delighted to welcome back striker Christian Benteke, who had been sidelined for almost 6 months with an Achilles tendon injury. Prior to the injury, Benteke had been in good goal scoring form for his Premier League club Aston Villa and would have been a certainty to go to the world cup with Belgium had it not been for his injury. Benteke has been named by manager Marc Wilmots in his starting eleven for the match against Iceland and the striker is available at 5/1 with bet365 to open the scoring. Although, as mentioned previously, this match is classed as a friendly, this is a big and important match for Benteke on his road back in to the national team and he will have a point to prove.

Eden Hazard has also been named amongst the starting eleven and the midfielder has been in great form for his club, Chelsea, in recent weeks. The 23 year old has scored 5 goals in all competitions and despite missing one from the spot recently in the Champions League, is a regular penalty taker for his club team. Hazard is available at 11/8 with BetVictor to score at any time.

Belgium`s opponents, Iceland, have been enjoying their football of late and currently sit top of the their Euro 2016 qualifying group ahead of teams such as Turkey, Czech Republic and Netherlands. One player who has been prominent during this strong start for Iceland has been midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, who has popped up with 4 goals in just 3 games for his country. A great free-kick taker, as shown against Arsenal in the Premier League recently, Sigurdsson is available at 11/2 with bet365 to score at any time during the match. Another player who has been in good form this season is striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, who has found the back of the net 4 times for his club Ajax this season and is 10/1 with bet365 to get the first goal of the game.

Iceland come in to this match undefeated in their last 5 international matches and these have included wins over Netherlands and Turkey. During those 5 games, Iceland have scored 10 goals and conceded only 1. Belgium are also undefeated since the world cup, recording 2 wins and a draw in 3 games, scoring 9 goals in the process. BetVictor offer 21/20 for both teams to score in the match, something which is more likely considering the absence of Belgium`s Vincent Kompany in defence.

Belgium are strong at home and are undefeated in their previous 5 home matches and with so much talent in their starting eleven for this game, Iceland face an uphill task to come away with anything but a defeat. Iceland have won once in their last 6 attempts away from home, 2 of which have been defeats. paddypower offer 12/4 for a Belgium win with both teams to score.
