While Ashley Cole has shown in his relationships that he might have trouble committing nobody can doubt his work for the England cause. The Chelsea full-back has never let anyone down when he plays for the national side. Cole is set to mark his 100th game for the national team against Brazil on Wednesday night. As far as friendlies go a game against Brazil promises to be a little more interesting than most others and bookmakers make the Samba Boys 7/5 (general) favourites. England are a best priced 23/10 (bet365) and a draw can be had for 17/7 (pinnacle). I am not even going to begin to guess as to how the game will pan out and instead would recommend for those looking for a bet to have a look around at some of the other markets available.

The best bet in the alternative markets is to back both teams to score 4/5 (BetVictor) as this would have paid in four of the last six England games (only Moldova and San Marino) have failed to score against them while Brazil have failed to score in just one of their last 18 (a friendly with Mexico).

Scotland will start a new regime against Estonia and although they are likely to begin the Gordon Strachan era with a win I can not be backing them at 4/7 (general). This after all is more or less the same side who only beat Luxembourg 2-1. If Scotland are to do anything in this game then Jordan Rhodes is likely to be the key and the striker enters the game in great form having netted eight goals in his last eight games in all competitions. Rhodes is 11/8 (sportingbet/BetVictor) to score anytime.

Wales are another home nation with a game at their own ground and they entertain Austria. Bookmakers make Austria the 17/10 (ladbrokes) favourites while Wales are 19/10 (Coral/pinnacle) and the draw is a best priced 12/5 (BetVictor). The bet here might be in taking NO in the both teams to score market. Two of the last three Austria away games have ended 0-0 while Wales have failed to score in four of their last five home games. This can be backed at 21/20 with BetVictor.

The Republic of Ireland are also at home and they take on Poland and are 13/8 (paddy Power/Coral/william hill) while the draw is 23/10 (general) and a Poland victory is 2/1 (general). The last four Poland games have seen four or more goals while three of the last four Republic of Ireland games have also seen four or more goals. The bet here then is to take the over 2.5 goals at 13/9 (pinnacle). Northern Ireland are the only one of the home nations who are away and they face a trip to Malta and are 21/17 (Pinnacle) for victory while a draw is a best priced 12/5 (general) and a Malta victory is 11/4 (Coral). You would have to be crazy to side with Northern Ireland at that price as they have lost seven of their last eight away games while Malta have won four of their last seven.

In the other internationals France take on Germany and Holland take on Italy in two good looking games for the neutral though the pick of the bets comes in the game between Sweden and Argentina. The South Americans look good things at 6/5 (Coral) to see off their European opponents. True Sweden had an impressive victory over England recently however that was thanks to a Zlatan Ibrahimovic masterclass. This time around you think Lionel Messi will be keen to steal the spotlight from a player who has been less than complimentary of him in the past. Sixteen places seperate these sides in the FIFA Rankings so 6/5 is a steal.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Argentina to beat Sweden, 6/5 (Coral)
SILVER: Both teams not to score in Wales v Austria, 21/20 (BetVictor)
BRONZE: Rep of Ireland and Poland to go over 2.5 goals, 13/9 (Pinnacle)
