The fourth part of our Premier League preview will look the sides from Arsenal to Man City and recommend the best bet involving these sides.
ARSENAL: Arsene Wenger thinks his side can challenge for the title I think he is mad. The Gunners just about snuck into the Champions League by one point last season and have made no significant improvements while Tottenham have added three top players including a badly needed goalscorer. Gareth Bale is still here and the 13/10 (paddy Power) on Arsenal to not make the top four looks the value bet.
ASTON VILLA: After some struggles with relegation last season Aston Villa should do well this season especially after getting Christian Benteke to sign a new deal. Gabriel Agonlahor is an under-rated part of the forward line and the Englishman got eight goals in his last 14 appearances. The pacy forward will benefit from the presence of Benteke and in a market with question marks about the others looks great each-way at 40/1 (BETVICTOR/paddy Power) in the top English goalscorer market.
CARDIFF: After getting promotion last season Cardiff will look to follow in the footsteps of rivals Swansea and secure first season safety. The money has been put down to build the team and with an owner prepared to change the colours of the team he will certainly be willing to take out a manager if the start is slow. The fixture list is not kind and they could be battling from the off so the 11/4 (STAN JAMES) on the Scot to be sacked by the start of the season looks the call.
CHELSEA: As United come into the pack Chelsea will look to be among the title contenders that being said the work done by Mourinho in the transfer market has been underwhelming. The Special One might find some of the same problems of his predecessors this is an aging side who can turn it out on their day but a side who can also let four points slip to QPR. The best bet then is Romelu Lukaku who scored more goals than all his Chelsea teammates while on loan at West Brom and looks value at 5/1 (CORAL) to be their top scorer this seasom.
CRYSTAL PALACE: Only three sides have came up with fewer points in the Champiomship than Palace and two of them went straight back down. Without Murray and Zaha it could be a long season for them so take the 19/20 (STAN JAMES) on a bottom two finish.
EVERTON: Too good to go down not good enough to be relegated, something of a middle land for Everton. Take the 13/2 (paddy Power) on Kevin Miralles to be their top league scorer as he got five in his last 11 games and the Toffees have no recognized striker.
FULHAM: The Whites took some hammering at the end of last season and with sides around them improving the 9/10 (STAN JAMES) on them to finish 14th or lower looks the call.
HULL: It could be a struggle but Steve Bruce has made some solid signings and he a good record in keeping sides up. The 5/4 (BETVICTOR) to stay up has to be worth an interest.
LIVERPOOL: Like Everton too good to go down not good enough to go up. Phillip Coutinho will be at the heart of everything they do and 16/1 (boylesports) on him to get the most assists looks value.
MAN CITY: The runenrs-up last year are the favourites to take it all this year. Hard to oppose with the influx of signings in key forward positons working alongside the side who kept most clean sheets in the league last season. The start is kind to them as they host Newcastle before visiting Cardiff and then entertaining Hull. Take the 7/5 (888 SPORT/unibet) they sit top of the table on September 3rd.
