In our fifth and final part of our guide to the Premier League season we look at the best of the bets from the second half of the teams from Man United through to West Ham.

MAN UNITED: Life without Sir Alex Ferguson will be a strange one for Man United fans and David Moyes has a thankless task to follow in his footsteps. He stumbled right into the Wayne Rooney issue and has yet to solve the central midfield problems. He did though inherit a side wihich won the title by 11 points, has one of the best young English talents in Wilfried Zaha to join the lineup and most crucially has Robin van Persie. Take the 4/1 on the Dutchman finishing as top scorer for the third consecutive season.

NEWCASTLE: The Magpies finished just 16th last season and they have not had a successful summer. Sides around them have got better while Loic Remy is their only recent add so the 21/20 (STAN JAMES) on them not to finish in the top 12 looks value. NORWICH: The Canaries struggled for goals last season and have looked to rectify this with Gary Hooper , Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Leroy Fer and Nathan Redmond. Norwich hit 44 points last season and they look decent good value to get over 44 at 6/4 (CORAL).

SOUTHAMPTON: The signings of Victor Wanyama and Dejan Lovren should boost the side and as long as Rickie Lambert and Jay Rodriguez can continue to fire in the goals they should be comfortable. I like the look of the evens (CORAL) on them to finish higer than Newcastle.

STOKE: Mark Hughes was the shock choice to replace Tony Pulis and he is a man in desperate need of success following a terrible time at QPR. Hughes has not bought in many players yet and this could be a risky strategy. The Potters were the second lowest scorers last season and at 9/2 (paddy Power) look the call to be the lowest scorers this time.

SUNDERLAND: The Black Cats finished 17th last season and some people feel they will struggle this season. The transfer policy has been dramatic with ten players coming in and ten players out. It is hard to get a handle on how the side will develop though a tough fixture list has not been kind to them. They face Fulham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man United,Newcastle, Man Cty, Chelsea, Tottenham before Norwich on the 21st of December. Take the Black Cats to be bottom at Christmas which is around 14/1 on the exchanges at the time of writing.

SWANSEA: The neutrals favourites are in line for another good season with the signings of Bony and Shelvey boosting a side that finished top ten last time out and landed the League Cup. The 5/2 (STAN JAMES) on them to finish top eight is the way to play this.

TOTTENHAM: Spurs have added some great players this summer in striker Roberto Soldado, midfielder Paulinho and forward Nacer Chadii and do not seem to be done there. I could recommend them to finish in the top four, betting though the best bet of the season is the evens (CORAL) on them to finish abover Liverpool.

WEST BROM: It was a seaspm pf two halves for West Brom last year an excellent first half followed by a terrible second. The loss of Lukaku is a blow and the jusry is still out on Steve Clarke as a manager. The 4/1 (STAN JAMES) on him not to be in charge on the last day of the season has to be considered some value then.

WEST HAM: The Hammers finished tenth last season and they look value at 9/4 (GENERAL) for another top half finish. No players have left the London side while Stewart Downing, Razvan Rat and Andy Carroll on a permanent deal have all joined the club. It should be another good season for West Ham.
