Both Burnley and Crystal Palace have put daylight between themselves and the Premier League relegation zone by picking up wins in their last league games, but at least one of these two clubs will have to drop points when they face each other at Turf Moor tomorrow.

A win would see 17th placed Burnley continue their run of four top tier games without a defeat with Sean Dyche`s men recording an important win over fellow strugglers QPR last weekend.

Clarets midfielder Scott Arfield opened the scoring in the 2-1 win before the away side were awarded a penalty which ex-Burnley man Charlie Austin duly converted. Ever reliable centre-forward Danny Ings grabbed the winner ten minutes prior to the half-time whistle, the second half remaining goalless.

This victory for the North West club followed impressive score draws away at Premier League champions Manchester City (2-2) and high-flyers Newcastle United (3-3) and a home tie with European hopefuls Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup (1-1).

Burnley succumbed to a 4-2 defeat in the reverse fixture against Spurs last Wednesday.

A total of seven different players have scored for Burnley in these last five games proving the club to be a danger all over the park. The top scorers from these encounters, however, are the aforementioned Ings and George Boyd who have both bagged two.

Bwin have priced up Ings at 5/1 to be the first goalscorer of the match, whilst Boyd can be backed at 9/2 (bet365) to hit the back of the net at any time. The side are also available at 7/4 (Numerous) to score over 1.5 goals. Crystal Palace made a winning start in the league under new manager Alan Pardew by coming from behind to secure a 2-1 win over fifth placed Spurs.

The first half ended without a goal being netted though it only took four minutes for on-fire Spurs` striker Harry Kane to hit the back of the net after the break. Palace levelled from the penalty spot thanks to Dwight Gayle before Jason Puncheon wrapped up the unlikely win.

After twin goalless draws away at Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa, the Eagles have racked up five points from their last three league games, whilst also putting four past Conference side Dover in the FA Cup.

Gayle was again on target against the non-league side and can be backed at 16/5 at 888sport and unibet to grab his third in as many games. Defender Scott Dann earned himself a brace in that clash with Kevin Doyle adding the winner in Pardew`s first game in charge.

Despite this solid upturn in form and performance, it is Burnley who are the favourites to take away all three points on Saturday. bet365 and Betvictor have both priced up the home team at 31/20 to take home the win.

Nine to four with Coral says that former Newcastle coach Pardew will pick up his third win in his first three as manager of the London club whilst 23/10 (Bwin, Stan James) says the match will end a draw as it did the last time the two teams met. Neither side could break the deadlock in the goalless draw at Selhurst Park.

As a result there`s a price of 17/20 (betway) against both team scoring tomorrow with 21/20 (betfair) suggesting that both teams will hit the back of the net.

Hoping to do his best in this regard is new Palace signing Yaya Sanogo, who joined the club on loan from Arsenal. The Frenchman could start after replacing Kevin Doyle who has returned to Wolves. Sanogo is 14/5 (32red, 888sport, unibet) to score at any time on his debut.

Burnley defender Kevin Long will be out for the rest of the season after picking up an injury in the first FA Cup leg against Spurs.
