Premier League

If ever a game looks like a home banker then it was the one that sees table-topping Arsenal up against a Norwich side that have won just two of their last 24 away games.

The Gunners draw with West Brom in their last game brought to an end a run of form that had seen them win five straight in the Premier League and they will be in many accumulators even at odds of 3/10 (GENERAL).

A few words of caution for those thinking of taking Arsenal at such a short price. Norwich looked good against Chelsea and were a little unlucky not to get a point. The Canaries also took three point of Arsenal last season at Carrow Road and caused them a lot of problems at the Emirates.

I think the Canaries can frustate the Gunners for quite a while and so those looking for a lay might want to consider Arsenal as it might take a while for them to break Norwich down.

The best bet in this game is the 5/1 (BETVICTOR) on Ricky van Wolfswinkel the Norwich frontman has commited a league-high 22 fouls this season and can count himself very fortunate not to have been booked in the last game against Chelsea.

Another game that looks good for a home victory is the one that pitches Chelsea against Cardiff at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are naturally the very short priced favourites at odds of 1/4 (GENERAL) that does not inspire you to back them. Though you would not want to take them on seeing as the London side have won ten and drawn one of their last 11 in the league at Stamford Bridge.

It has been a tough few weeks for Malky MacKay as the owner has undermined his position at the club by removing one of his key allies and replacing him with an unexperiened friend of the family. Cardiff could come out fighting behind their manager and odds of 14/1 (GENERAL) on the Welsh side and 11/2 (GENERAL) are a little on the generous side.

I like the look of Dembe Ba at 5/4 (SKYBET) to net at anytime. The forward was a real handful against Norwich in their last Premier League match and but for a great save from John Ruddy would have grabbed a goal and will fancy his chances against a Cardiff side that has shipped six in their last three.

Everton and Hull do battle at Goodison Park and this once again looks like a simple home victory. The Toffees are the 9/20 (GENERAL) favourites as they look to continue a fine start to the season that has seen them lose just one game (to Man City) and sit in seventh place. The style of play might be different under Martinez than Moyes but the results are still as good.

The Tigers have started the season well also with Steve Bruce having his side organized in defence and strong on the counter. That being said it is asking a lot on them to put an end to a run of form that has seen Everton go 12 home games unbeaten. The draw is not out of the question at 7/2 (TOTESPORT/betfred/BETVICTOR) though.

The best bet in this game comes once more in siding with the in-form Romelu Lukaku who has netted six in his last six in all competitions and four in his last three in the Premier League. The Belgian should not be priced at 11/10 (bet365/boylesports/BWIN) to score at anytime so take advantge of this generosity.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Romelu Lukaku to score anytime v Hull, 11/10 (bet365/boylesports/BWIN)
SILVER: Dembe Ba to score anytime v Cardiff, 5/4 (SKYBET)
BRONZE: Ricky van Wolfswinke to be shown a card v Arsenal, 5/1 (BETVICTOR)
