Everton travel to Dynamo Kiev tonight looking to maintain, if not extend, the one goal advantage they earned in their first leg against their Europa League opponents at Goodison Park last weekend. The Toffees scooped a 2-1 win back in Merseyside despite the scoring being opened by the Ukrainian side. Oleg Gusev broke the deadlock with the game just 14 minutes young before Stephen Naismith equalised for the home side just ten minutes prior to half-time. The game remained level until the 82nd minute when Romelu Lukaku converted a penalty to send his side in front going into the second leg and earn himself the title of the Blues` record European scorer.

Betvictor have the best price of 13/1 on Roberto Martinez`s men picking up a second 2-1 win over Dynamo away from home. Gusev is a 12/1 (bet365) chance to score the opening goal for the second time in as many games against Everton whilst Lukaku can be backed at 8/1 (paddy Power) to contribute the last goal and continue to add to his Europa League tally.

Indeed, despite their victory at home, the Goodison Park outfit are the outsiders for their match in Eastern Europe. Whilst Dynamo Kiev are available for the win at the best price of 11/10 (betfred, paddy Power, Skybet, Totesport), the best price on an Everton win is 29/10 (Betvictor, boylesports). Thirteen-to-five with bet365 and Betvictor says that the game will end a draw after 90 minutes.

Everton will have to avoid losing by one goal to nil should they want to avoid being knocked out by the away goals rule. Most bookmakers are offering up the British club at 4/7 to qualify by any means whilst Kiev are up for grabs at the best price of 6/4 (bet365, Betvictor, Coral).

The match may well be poised against the Merseyside club as a consequence of their poor Premier League position. Martinez`s side occupy a remote 14th position, two points of both Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion in 12th and 13th respectively. Prior to their 3-0 win at home to Newcastle at the weekend, the Toffees were a meagre three points off the relegation zone.

Whilst they have failed to win in three away matches in their domestic league, Everton`s Europa League away record is good, having racked up one win and two draws on the road in the group stage of this competition and putting four past Young Boys in their 4-1 victory in the first knock out round.

Having scored four of these away goals including a hat-trick against their Swiss counterparts in the last stage, Lukaku is the club`s top scorer for away games in Europe. Whilst he is 11/4 (betway, paddy Power) to bag a goal at any time tonight, the Belgian is available at 150/1 (william hill) to strike another three goals.

Everton have only kept three clean sheets and have failed to score on one occasion during this tournament. A win to nil for the Blues is available at 6/1 (Spreadex) whilst a win to nil for the home side is on offer at 12/5 at most bookies. Otherwise, betfred have 10/11 on both teams hitting the back of the net tonight.

Kiev currently top the Ukrainian first tier of football, the seven point leaders over second placed Shakhtar Donetsk. Serhiy Rebrov`s club`s defeat against Everton was their first in all competitions since their Europa League defeat at the hands of Guingamp back in February.

Everton`s hosts have only once failed to score in this competition and have an average of just under two goals a game. A trio of bookmakers (betfred, Betvictor, Coral) are offering odds of 11/10 on Kiev hitting over 1.5 past their rivals tonight.
