Four of the top seven sides in the Premier League are in action on Sunday and here is our guide to the best of the bets from these games.

The opener Sunday is a Merseyside derby as the red half of Liverpool play host to the blue half of Everton. Liverpool are a best priced evens (STAN JAMES) for victory and they have reasons to be confident after hammering Newcastle 6-0 last week. The victory made it five games unbeaten for Liverpool though opponents Everton are also in good form losing just one of their last seven games. Away from home though they have struggled of late with no league win since January 2nd. Anfield is also not a happy hunting ground for them with the Toffees without a win at the ground in 12 games, losing five of the last eight. This could be a tight game with the draw an option at 13/5 (bet365/BETVICTOR/STAN JAMES) while an Everton victory is 10/3 (BETVICTOR). It has been a while since Marouane Fellaini found himself on the score sheet for Everton but this could be just the kind of game he needs to put himself in the shop window for a big summer move. It would not shock me if he puts in one of his better performances and odds of 7/2 (CORAL) look much too big on a player with such a talent. Sticking with the player markets and Stewart Downing looks value in the anytime assist market where is 4/1 (boylesports). Downing is finally winning over the Liverpool fans and he is looking comfortable on the wings in a 4-2-3-1. The player created two goals in the last game against Newcastle and looks over-priced to do so again here.

The second game on Sunday is the one that pitches Man United against Chelsea as these sides meet for the fifth time this season. The head-to-head record shows two wins for Chelsea, one for Man United and a draw (though one of these Chelsea wins came in extra-time). This game then is likely to be another close battle that could be settled by the odd goal. Many might be attracted by the odds on United who are 5/4 (GENERAL) which looks decent considering the Red Devils have won 15 of their last 17 home games in the league this season. With the title wrapped up and Chelsea seeking a Champions League slot then I would not be rushing to back United. The London side are 5/2 (bet365/william hill) and the draw is 13/5 (BETVICTOR). If Chelsea had not had a tough Europa League game Thursday night I would have consider getting on them as such I might skip the outright markets here. I think this could be a game of goals and as such I would recommend the over 3.5 goals at 2/1 (BETVICTOR/CORAL/william hill). Four of the last seven Chelsea away games in the league have gone over 3.5 goals and two of the other three games went close with three goals. Four of the last five meetings between these sides (including three of the four this season) have gone over 3.5 goals. The one game that did not feature many goals was the FA Cup replay which took place on an Easter Monday just 48 hours after both sides had played a game in the league.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Over 3.5 goals in game between Man Utd and Chelsea, 2/1 (BETVICTOR/CORAL/WILLIAM HILL)
SILVER: Marouane Fellaini to score anytime, 7/2 (CORAL)
BRONZE: Stewart Downing to assist anytime, 4/1 (boylesports)
