Just ahead of the mouth-watering mains served up on Sunday we have the starter of Swansea and Everton on Saturday lunchtime. This game is one that if you get a chance you should make plans to watch. These two sides have had great starts to the season with seven points (two wins, one draw and a loss) each. Both sides have players who can get the ball down and play football and this looks a tricky game to call.

Swansea will have their supporters at 38/17 (pinnacle) as they are unbeaten in their last five home games keeping clean sheets in three of these. Everton though have lost just one of their last 13 Premier League matches and none of their last 15 league and cup meetings with Swansea. It is 6/4 (Bet Victor/paddy Power) that the Toffees grab all three points here while the draw is a best priced at 12/5 (Skybet/ToteSport/betfred).

If you wish to have a bet on this game you could do worse than have some of the 3/1 (boylesports) on Steven Pienaar in the anytime assist market. The South African created two goals in the Monday night game with Newcastle and is creator in chief for the Toffees. Pienaar could torment Swansea full-backs Angel Rangel and youngster Ben Davies.

The first of the tasty double-header on Sunday sees Liverpool take on Man Utd and let us hope that the headlines are about what happens on the pitch and not off it. Brendan Rodgers is still chasing his first League win this season and Man Utd are probably not the team he had in mind to try and secure it against. The Merseysiders though have a good record against Utd winning four and losing none of their last five games in all competitions at home to the Red Devils. It is 15/8 (general) a Liverpool victory while the draw is a best priced 12/5 (Skybet/Bodog/pinnacle). Utd have had their critics this season yet they still have won three of their four games in the league. They will not be easy opponents and some will be tempted by the 16/9 (pinnacle) that the away side grab all three points here. It is not a game I feel comfortable betting on the match result and instead I think we can have some fun with the player to be shown a card market run by Skybet. I could put noone off backing Paul Scholes at 5/6, though I would be more interested in Luis Suarez 6/4 (three bookings this season), Martin Skrtel 2/1 (two bookings this season) and Nemanja Vidic at 2/1 (sent-off in his last two appearances at Anfield). This game promises to be a tightly fought battle between two rivals and though Mark Halsey is one of the more lenient referees I expect him to still show a number of cards.

Man City are 4/5 (general) to see off Arsenal while the draw is 32/11 (Pinnacle) and the away win is 4/1 (BWin). City have won three of their last four home league games against Arsenal yet I still fancy the Gunners to get something here. I think the exploits of Madrid in midweek may catch up with the home side and 22/19 (32 Red) on the Gunners in the double chance market is just far too good to ignore. In addition Gervinho at 12/1 (bet365/Stan James) to score first or 4/1 (Stan James) to score anytime seems huge on a player likely to play up front and who has grabbed four in his last three games.
