Championship

QPR have won eight and drawn two of their ten home games in the Championship this season and they are 5/4 (BETVICTOR) to defeat third placed Leicester in the live lunchtime game (12:15, SKY SPORTS). The Foxes are 13/5 (BETVICTOR) the away win while the draw is a 12/5 (GENERAL) chance. In a tough game to call taking both teams to score looks the way to play this at odds of 42/41 (888 SPORT/unibet) as this would have paid out in five of the last six Leicester have played including the recent game with Man City. Derby will be a popular bet after winning six straight though odds of 9/20 (paddy Power) do not appeal to me. Leeds are another side in form with four wins and a draw from their last six and they are 4/5 (GENERAL) to see off Barnsley, while Brighton are evens (william hill) to see off Huddersfield and Burnley 20/23 (BETVICTOR) to defeat Bournemouth.

Millwall entertain Middlesbrough on Saturday evening (17:30, SKY SPORTS) in a game that will be televised from the Den. These two sides are struggling at the wrong end of the table with the Lions in 18th and Boro in 19th. Bookmakers make the visitors the 13/8 (paddy Power) favourites for the game though that is no price on a side who have failed to win any of their last nine away games. The Lions meanwhile have turned the Den into something of a fortress going seven games unbeaten in front of their own fans, winning four of these. It is a surprise then to see the London side at 2/1 (BETVICTOR/william hill) to win the game or at 23/20 (william hill) in the draw no bet market.

Despite a run of three straight draws Leyton Orient continue to hold the top spot in League One and are 10/11 (BETVICTOR/william hill) to see off a Crawley side with no win in their last six in all competitions. Crawley though have drawn five of their last six and the game to end all square can be backed at 13/5 (BETVICTOR).

Wolves have lost two straight and will look to bounce back against a Rotherham side with four wins and two draws from their last six games. The Millers are 15/8 (GENERAL), Wolves are 8/5 (GENERAL) while the draw is a 12/5 (GENERAL) chance.

The game of the day is the battle between third placed Preston and fourth placed Brentford. Both sides are in great form with North End unbeaten in their last 11 and the Bees unbeaten in their last nine away games. The draw is a strong option then at odds of 12/5 (GENERAL). The best bet though is in taking Carlisle to get something from their visit to Walsall. The Cumbrians have lost just one of their last nine and take on a Saddlers side with just one win from their last five in all comeptitions and just three of their last nine at home. Take the Cumbrians and the draw in the double chance market at odds of 23/20 (bet365).

After putting paid to our bet last weekend with a late winner Oxford remain top of League Two though it is still tight at the top with just five points seperating the top nine. The U’s are 17/10 (BETVICTOR) for victory away to York and this looks worth a little interest considering they are unbeaten in nine away games in League Two this season, winning six of these. The Minstermen have failed to win any of their last eight and have suffered six defeats in front of their own fans this season.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Millwall v Middlesbrough, draw no bet, 23/20 (WILLIAM HILL)
SILVER: Carlisle and draw double chance v York, 23/20 (bet365)
BRONZE: Oxford to beat York, 17/10 (BETVICTOR)
