The live game (12:15, SKY SPORTS) on Saturday in the Championship is the top of the table clash between third placed Leicester and leaders Burnley at the King Power Stadium. The Foxes are the evens (ladbrokes/william hill) favourites as they look to continue a run of seven victories from their last eight home games in the Championship. The Clarets though have lost just twice in the league this season and can be backed at 10/3 (bet365) while the draw is available at 13/5 (bet365/BETVICTOR/CORAL). This should be a great game to watch but a tough one to call from a betting point of view. The best bet for me in this division comes from the game at the City Ground where I think Ipswich are value to get something from their clash with Nottingham Forest. The Tractor Boys have won each of their last three games and are unbeaten in their last five away games. Forest meanwhile have won just two of their last eight and won none of their last four at home. I think the way to play this is to take the East Anglian side and the draw in the double chance market at odds of 17/20 (betway).
Eighth placed Bradford play host to table toppers Leyton Orient in the game of the day in League One. Bookmakers are struggling to split the pair with the Bantams a best priced 9/5 (william hill) while Orient can be backed at 19/10 (bet365) and the draw is available at 12/5 (GENERAL). These are two sides blessed with scoring talents so goals could be the order of the day here and you can get over 2.5 goals at 39/40 (BETVICTOR). Wolves will be able to take advantage of any slip ups from Orient if they see off MK Dons at Molineux and they are 4/5 (GENERAL) for the victory while the draw is a 29/10 (bet365/BETVICTOR) chance and the MK Dons victory is 4/1 (GENERAL).
The best bet in the division comes from the game at Bramall Lane where I like Sheffield United at 7/5 (GENERAL) to take all three points against Swindon. The Blades are beginning to find their feet under Nigel Clough and are unbeaten in their last four games including victories over Bristol City and Cambridge in the FA Cup and league draws with Leyton Orient and Walsall. The Robins are going well but tend to do their best work at home and have just two wins from their last eight away games, losing four of their last seven.
The game of the day in League Two is the one that pits fifth placed Rochdale up against seventh placed Fleetwood. Dale had a good win at Rotherham in the Second Round of the FA Cup that will fill them with confidence and they have won six of their last eight home games and can be backed at 6/4 (william hill) while Fleetwood have lost just two of their last ten though both these defeats came on their travels.
The best bet in this division comes in the game between Oxford and Dagenham and Redbridge where I like the look of the visitors to get something from the game. The U’s will be playing their third game in ten days and I think this might catch up on them. The Daggers are a decent side who sit ninth in the division and have lost just three of their last 14 in the league. They can be backed at 13/15 (BETVICTOR) with a 0.5 start on the Asian Handicap which will pay out if they win or the game ends in a draw. In addition consider an interest on Zavon Hines to score at anytime at odds of 3/1 (BET365/betfred) as his pace will cause Oxford problems on the counter and he has six goals in his last nine away games.
BEST OF THE BETS
GOLD: Ipswich and draw double chance v N.Forest, 17/20 (betway)
SILVER: Dagenham & Redbridge +0.5 on Asian Handicap v Oxford, 13/15 (BETVICTOR)
BRONZE: Sheffield United to beat Swindon, 7/5 (GENERAL)
