The big game in the Championship is on Sunday and sees QPR take on Reading at Loftus Road in front of the SKY cameras (15:30). Harry Redknapp and his side will be looking to bounce back from a loss against Derby on Monday night. At Loftus Road QPR have lost just once here all season and they can be backed at evens (GENERAL) to take all three points while the draw is 13/5 (bet365/BETVICTOR) and this has been the result in the last three meetings between them. The Royals who The Royals have won two of their last three away games can be backed at 31/10 (BETVICTOR) and of the three this looks the little bit better value.
Those looking for a bet could do worse than taking over 2.5 goals as the last four QPR home games have seen a total of 15 goals so take 23/20 (BETVICTOR/ladbrokes).
Burnley will look to close the gap on Leicester on Saturday (15:00) to just five points when they travel to Bournemouth. The Clarets have won their last two after a little stutter where they drew three straight and are 13/8 (william hill) to defeat the Cherries. Bourenmouth have been solid this season though are on a bit of a dry spell with just one win from seven and offer no appeal at 2/1 (BETVICTOR) while the draw is 12/5 (bet365/BETVICTOR). The best bet is the 5/6 (GENERAL) on both teams to score as this would have paid in four of the last five Cherries home games while Burnley have found the net in 12 of their last 14 away.
Birmingham and Huddersfield both just have one win from their last five and need three points soon if they are to avoid getting sucked into the relegation battle. The Midlanders are the 31/20 (bet365/BETVICTOR) favourites for the game though they have gone ten games since winning at home. The visitors though are not looking good away losing five of their last six on their travels. Federico Macheda has three goals in his last three games for the Blues and 2/1 (bet365) on him to score at anytime looks worth an interest.
A crucial Yorkshire derby at the bottom end of the table sees Doncaster 6/4 (william hill) to defeat Barnsley. Doncaster though have won just two of their last nine encounters with the Tykes. Rovers though can take heart from a recent spell of form that has seen them lose just one of their last five games.
Ipswich are 5/6 (GENERAL) to see off a Blackpool side who have never won a league game at Portman Road. The Suffolk side are on a decent run of form taking eight points from their last four games including winning the last two home games to nil and it is 2/1 (SKYBET/CORAL) that the Tractor Boys win to nil. This looks worth a little interest as the Tangerines have drawn blanks in three of their last four league away games. The game at Vicarage Road promises to be a fascinating one as Watford look to continue a run of seven points from their last three games including a draw with Leicester. They will be popular at 5/4 (WILLIAM HILL) to see off Middlesbrough though a word of caution the North Eastern side are also going well with just one defeat in ten league games.
The best bet in the division though comes in the game between Millwall and Bolton where I like the Lions at 37/40 (BETVICTOR) in the draw no bet market. The Trotters have just one win from their last 11 league games while the Lions are showing signs of improvement under new boss Ian Holloway and have lost just two of their last five games.
BEST OF THE BETS
GOLD: Millwall to beat Bolton, draw no bet, 37/40 (BETVICTOR)
SILVER: Ipswich to beat Blackpool to nil, 2/1 (SKYBET/CORAL)
BRONZE: Fedrico Macheda to score anytime v Huddersfield, 2/1 (BET365)
