The Premier League makes a return this weekend after the international break and comes back with a bang as the live lunchtime game (12:45, BT SPORT) is the Merseyside derby.

Bookmakers make Liverpool the marginal favourites at 6/4 (BETVICTOR/paddy Power/ladbrokes) as they sit second in the Premier League and have lost just two of their last ten away games, with those defeats coming at Man U and Arsenal. The head-to-head record favours the Reds who are unbeaten in the last six meetings between the pair. Everton are no mugs at home having not lost at Goodison Park in the league in 2013 and they can be backed at 2/1 (BETVICTOR/CORAL) for all three points.

The draw might well be the most likely result of the three as it has finished all square in both meetings between the sides last season, this has also been the result in two of the last four Liverpool away games in the league and in six of the 13 games Everton have played this season (including their last two). The game to finish in a draw is 12/5 (GENERAL).

In a game that features Lukaku, Suarez and Sturridge you might think it is crazy to go with under 1.5 goals, however games between top teams in the Premier League tend to finish low scoring. Liverpool front pair Sturridge and Suarez both have concerns over fitness and tiredness, while the last three Everton games have seen just two goals as Lukau has dried up for goals. Take the 14/5 (BETVICTOR) on this game having under 1.5 goals.

The evening game in the Premier League (17:30, SKY SPORTS) sees Chelsea travel to West Ham for a London derby. If ever one player has been missed this Andy Carroll for West Ham. The Hammers played some excellent football against Norwich last time out yet some how found themselves losing the game 3-1. If Carroll had been there to help them convert any number of their chances then they could have been three or four up at half-time. West Ham are 5/1 (SPREADEX/WINNER) to claim all three point against Chelsea a result that could silence a few critics of Sam Allardyce. The Hammers can take heart from the fact that Chelsea have won just one of their five league away games and just one of their last three at West Ham.

Chelsea have won seven of their last nine in all competitions and will fancy their chances against a West Ham side that have won just one of their last five home games and lost three of these. The Blues are 4/6 (GENERAL) to take all three points. The best bet in this game comes in the anytime scorer market, West Ham have conceded five goals already from a set-piece this season while Chelsea have scored four from them. It has been a while since Gary Cahill has scored but odds of 12/1 (william hill) look value.

The lunchtime game on Saturday (12:15, SKY) in the Championship is the Yorkshire derby which sees Huddersfield away to Sheffield Wednesday. The Owls are the 11/10 (GENERAL) as they take on Huddersfield side that have lost four of their last five games. Wednesday though have won just one of their last six and it is 14/5 (BETVICTOR) a Huddersfield victory while the draw which has been the result in four of the last six games Wednesday have played is a 5/2 (BETVICTOR) chance. Both teams to score has been the result in five of the last six Sheffield Wednesday games and each of the last six Hudderfield games and can be backed at 4/5 (BETVICTOR).

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: YES in both teams to score market Sheff Wed v Huddersfield, 4/5 (BETVICTOR)
SILVER: Under 1.5 goals in game between Everton and Liverpool, 14/5 (BETVICTOR)
BRONZE: Gary Cahill to score anytime v West Ham, 12/1 (william hill)
