The early Champions League game on Wednesday night should be an interesting one as Man City travel to Russia to take on CSKA Moscow, 17:00 (SKY) in Group D.

Man City have lost five of their last seven away in the Champions League so look a little short at 3/4 (GENERAL) to defeat the Russians. CSKA Moscow have lost just one of their four home games in the Champions League and are 4/1 (GENERAL) for victory. The Russians though have won just one of three previous home games against English sides. Sergio Aguero is the man in form having netted six in his last six and is available at 6/4 (bet365/BETVICTOR) to score at anytime while Alvaro Negredo is a 7/4 (bet365) chance.

Those looking for a bet on the game should consider Keisuke Honda to score at anytime at odds of 5/1 (TOTESPORT/betfred). City are without Vincent Kompany and the Japanese midfielder played just behind the frontman in gameweek two.

Also in this group Bayern Munich are at home to Vikotria Plzen and with the Germans in rampant form it would be a shock to see them fail to pick up all three points. Munich are much too short at 1/11 (BETVICTOR) though. Arjen Robben has netted in each of his last five in this competition and looks much too big at 11/10 (bet365) to score at anytime.

The red half of Manchester are in action later that evening (19:45, SKY) as they entertain Real Sociedad and the English side are the 4/7 (BETVICTOR/paddy Power) favourites for the game as they look to continue a run of home form that has seen them lose just two of their last 16 in the Champions League at Old Trafford (although these two defeats did come in their last three games). United have won just one of their last six against Spanish opponents and Sociedad are 6/1 (GENERAL) for all three points while the draw is 17/5 (888 SPORT/unibet).

The best bet in this game looks like being Antoine Griezmann who is 6/1 (TOTESPORT/betfred) to score as the Frenchman has grabbed two in his last four.

Also in this group is the game between Bayer Leverkusen and Shakhtar Donetsk with the Germans the 20/23 (BETVICTOR) favourites.

In Group B Real Madrid are 8/13 (BETVICTOR/paddy Power) favourites to see off Juventus and make it three wins from three games. Galatasaray are 4/9 (bet365/BETVICTOR/william hill) to see off FC Copenhagen and are 13/8 (CORAL) to win to nil against the Danes who have failed to score on six of their last eight away games in the Champions League.

Wesley Sneijder has looked in great form recently with three goals from his last two in all competitions and is a generous 11/5 (ladbrokes) to score at anytime.

In Group C PSG are going nicely and sit top with two wins from two wins and should have few problems seeing off Anderlecht at 1/2 (GENERAL). The battle for second looks like being between Olympiakos and Benfica and this sides meet in Portugal with the home side 4/5 (BETVICTOR) for victory. I think the Greek side could be a little bit of value with a 0.5 start on the Asian Handicap at 22/19 (BETVICTOR). Olympiakos have won three of their last five away in this competition and can gain at least a point here.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Arjen Robben to score anytime v Plzen, 11/10 (BET365)
SILVER: Wesley Sneijder to score anytime v FC Copenhagen, 11/5 (ladbrokes)
BRONZE: Olympiakos +0.5 on Asian Handicap v Benfica, 22/19 (BETVICTOR
