Tomorrow Manchester United host Leicester City at Old Trafford, the last time the two teams met being the Foxes` 5-3 victory over the former Premier League champions.

The East Midlands side were 2-1 down at half-time, Robin van Persie and Angel Di Maria breaking the deadlock in the first 15 minutes before Leonardo Ulloa halved the deficit less than a minute later.

Another five goals were scored in the second 45, Ander Herrera putting the Reds 3-1 in front with half an hour still to play. This goal preceded a quick fire Leicester double with David Nugent scoring a first penalty and Esteban Cambiasso levelling up. The game remained 3-3 until the 80th minute when Jamie Vardy struck to put the Blues ahead for the first time. A second penalty was successfully hit by Ulloa to make it 5-3.

Unfortunately for Leicester, however, things haven`t gone as well as they had planned after this emphatic win. They currently sit at the foot of the Premier League table and are three points from safety. A win for Manchester United, who sit in fourth, will see them jump ahead of third place Southampton with the Saints not taking to the field until Sunday when they face Swansea.

As a result, it is the home side who are the favourites to take all three points from the tie, Stan James offering the best price of 2/5 on a win for the Manchester club. A draw can be backed at 9/2 with most betting establishments whilst it`s 19/2 with 888sport should you think that City can do the double over the Champions League hopefuls.

This may not be as unlikely as it seems, however, with the away form of Nigel Pearson`s men improving rapidly. They have picked up a total of four points from their last five Premier League games on their travels, with this culminating in a 2-1 FA Cup win over Tottenham. Both Ulloa and Jeffrey Schlupp scored in the final 10 minutes to turn the tie on its head and progress through to the fifth round of the competition.

Schlupp was also on the scoresheet in Pearson`s men`s last top tier game on the road, he and David Nugent grabbing second half goals to see their side come from 2-0 behind against Liverpool at Anfield. This match followed City`s 1-0 win over Hull at the KC Stadium, Ryan Mahrez banging in the only goal.

Prior to this, Leicester had lost three successive times on the road against Queens Park Rangers (3-2), Aston Villa (2-1) and West Ham United (2-0). Having also scored his team`s only goal against Villa, Ulloa is in potent form at the minute. With his previous brace against United, the Argentinean can be backed at 9/2 with betfred and Totesport to hit the back of the net at any time tomorrow.

Someone else who is also going through something of a purple patch is winger Schlupp, who scored against QPR. Twenty-three-to-two says the 22-year-old can`t continue his rich vein of form away at Old Trafford.

Louis van Gaal`s United are coming off the back of an embarrassing goalless draw at Cambridge United in the FA Cup and are also looking to bounce back at home following their Old Trafford defeat to the league`s surprise packages Southampton.

What is in the Red Devil`s favour, however, is the fact that in the four home top tier matches prior to this 1-0 loss, they scored 11 goals and kept three clean sheets. Betvictor`s 13/10 says that the club can win to nil at home again whilst 7/2 with Skybet says United will score three goals as they did against Hull (3-0), Liverpool (3-0) and Newcastle (3-1).
