Celta de Vigo vs. Getafe - Betting preview and odds
October 2, 2015 20:30pm - Estadio Municipal de Balaídos
La Liga
This weekend´s La Liga schedule kicks off in Galicia on Friday night as in-form Celta de Vigo host Getafe at Estadio Municipal de Balaídos.
Celta buoyant after unbeaten start
After briefly topping the table last week, Celta de Vigo will be aiming to maintain their good form and stay in touch with the top four by beating mid-table Getafe on Friday evening.
Os Célticos have delighted football purists with their fluid and attacking style of play. They try to dominate every game - even against the most formidable opponents - but there is always purpose to their possession-based strategy. It comes as no surprise when you discover that their Coach Eduardo Berizzo was mentored by former Argentina and Athletic Bilbao boss Marcelo Bielsa.
Berizzo´s team were left physically and emotionally drained after last week´s win against European Champions Barcelona and had to fight their way back from a goal down to earn a point at Eibar last weekend. They now face a team that has started to find some form of their own in the last three weeks.
Getafe still without a point on the road
Madrid-based side Getafe started the season with three straight defeats but then won two out of the next three to lift themselves to 13th place in the table. The last win was a convincing 3-0 demolition of Levante on home soil. Despite their improvement, Fran Escribá´s team have yet to record a single point away from home and have only managed to score one goal on their travels.
Team news
The home side are still without Rubén Blanco who is recovering from a dislocated collarbone. Otherwise, Eduardo Berizzo has a full strength team to choose from and may decide to hand another start to striker Iago Aspas. The former Liverpool player was on target twice against Barça and came off the bench to rescue a point against Eibar with a late goal.
The visitors will be without Karim Yoda who is still recovering from a ruptured tendon in his knee.

Betting odds and tips
Getafe have failed to win a single point on the road this season and have yet to win a game in Vigo. On the five occasions that they have visited Bailados, they have lost four and drawn one. So far this season they have only bagged one goal away from home.
With the home side in such devastating form it is hard to imagine the visitors taking anything from this game. You can back Celta to Win at 18/5 with Betvictor, or you can improve the odds backing a Home Win to Nil at 6/4 with Bet365.
Bwin are offering a tempting price of 7/4 for Aspas to continue his scoring run at any time during the match.
