While those Premier League players not involved in internationals or club tours will be on their summer holidays spare a thought for their Spanish league counterparts (those poor millionaires) who are still playing. LA Liga comes to a conclusion this Saturday and for once Barcelona and Real Madrid will not be taking centre stage as it is the battle for the Champions League and the fight to avoid relegation that will be of most interest. Here is our guide to the best of the bets from these games.

Before we get down to those games firstly we have two live games from 4.00pm (BST) with Real Madrid at home to Osasuna followed by Barcelona entertaining Malaga. The Madrid game is likely to be notable as it marks the end of an era for Jose Mourinho with Carlo Ancelotti and Jupp Heynckes both being linked with the job. Moruinho meanwhile looks to be headed back to England and his former club Chelsea. Real Madrid are 1/4 (GENERAL) for victory which looks a little short as they seem to have given up for the season winning none of their last three. If you think Osasuna can spring a shock then they can be backed at 11/1 (stanjames/888sport/CORAL) while the draw is available at 23/4 (BWIN). Cristiano Ronaldo is naturally favourite in the first goalscorer market and is just 2/1 (SPREADEX) to score first or 3/10 (SPREADEX) to score anytime. Barcelona take on Malaga in the 6.00pm (BST) game with the Catalan side looking for the three points that will enable them to reach 100 for the season. Barca are just 2/7 (stanjames/ladbrokes) for victory as they seek a fifth straight victory. Malaga will need to end a run of nine straight league defeats if they want to end the era of Manuel Pellegrini (who looks Man City bound) with a victory. It is 10/1 (GENERAL) a Malaga victory while the draw can be backed at 11/2 (bet365/BETVICTOR). Alexis Sanchez has scored four in the last five games and is 10/11 (bet365/TOTESPORT/betfred) in the anytime scorer.

The race for the fourth Champions league slot (behind Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid) has come down to two teams (Valencia and Real Sociedad). Valencia hold a two point advantage though they have the weaker goal difference. ladbrokes and BWin are betting on who will finish in the top four and you can get Valencia at 2/9 (ladbrokes) and Real Sociedad at 3/1 (ladbrokes/BWIN). Sevilla are themselves not without a chance of European Football (in the Europa League) and so will prove difficult opponents here and are 12/5 (paddypower/william hill) for victory while the draw is 14/5 (BETVICTOR) and a Valencia victory is 6/5 (william hill). Having won eight of their last ten home games side with Sevilla in the draw no bet market at 6/4 (paddypower/CORAL).

Real Sociedad are 9/5 (william hill) to defeat Deportivo La Coruna a side who also need three points as they seek to stave off the threat of relegation. La Coruna are 13/8 (STANJAMES) for victory while the draw is 14/5 (BWIN). Sociedad have grabbed 12 goals in their last five games and are evens (betway) in the total away goals over 1.5 market.

William Hill and 188BET are betting on the relegation market and you can back Mallorca at 1/50 (WILLIAM HILL), Zaragoza are 1/19 (188BET) for the drop, Celta Vigo are 4/7 (WILLIAM HILL) and Deportivo La Coruna are 11/13 (188BET).

Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao agreed a move to Monaco this week and I expect to sign out in style this week at 6/5 (SPREADEX) in the anytime goalscorer market. Opponents Real Zaragoza have conceded 16 in their last eight including four against Real Betis.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Radamel Falcao to score anytime v Real Zaragoza, 6/5 (SPREADEX)
SILVER: Sevilla in draw no bet market v Valencia, 6/4 (paddypower/CORAL)
BRONZE: Real Sociedad to score over 1.5 goals v Deportivo, evens (betway)
