The League Cup reaches the fourth round this week (29th, 30th October) and as always with this tournament you must keep your stakes a little lower than you would in the Premier League as sides will rotate players and priorities will be different from team to team. Here is our guide to the best of the bets from the five matches Tuesday night.

The live game on Tuesday sees Chelsea take on Arsenal (SKY SPORTS, 19:45) from the Emirates. These sides sit first and second in the Premier League and bookmakers are struggling to split them in the betting. The Gunners are 13/8 (bet365/betfred) to make it six wins from their last seven home games in all competitions (the one defeat came to Dortmund in the Champions League).

Chelsea will take heart from their victory over Man City and the fact that they have lost just two of their last ten meetings with Arsenal and can be backed at 9/5 (bet365) while the 90 minute draw is available at 13/5 (BETVICTOR/william hill). I like the look of the Chelsea victory as both sides will rotate their team though it is the Blues who have greater depth to their squad. Extra-time and penalties are always at risk but at these prices I think it is worth an interest on Chelsea to win the game. Those who wish to cover the draw can back Chelsea at 10/11 (bet365/paddy Power/BWIN) to qualify.

Man United take on Norwich at Old Trafford and the home side are strong favourites to progress at odds of 4/11 (CORAL). You would have to be crazy to take that price considering the way United have been playing lately and this will not even be a full strength Red Devils side either. The Canaries might not win this but can keep this game close so look to side with them on the Asian Handicap line where they are 39/40 (bet365) with a 1.5 start which pays out on a Norwich win, the draw or even if the Canaries lose by one goal. Norwich battered Cardiff at the weekend with no luck and maybe good fortune will be with them here.

The three remaining games on Tuesday see Championship sides take on Premier League teams. Burnley are 17/10 (GENERAL) to see off West Ham though the table toppers might be tired after a hard fought victory over QPR in the Championship on Saturday. Leicester meanwhile offer no value at 7/5 (BETVICTOR) to see off Fulham.

Birmingham though do appeal to get something from their game with Stoke. Bookmakers make the Potters the favourites though after a tough game at Old Trafford on Saturday odds of 23/20 (BETVICTOR) do not entice. Birmingham saw off Swansea here in the last round and with just one home defeat from their last five look value in the double chance market to get a win or a draw from this tie. The Blues and the draw is 4/5 (BET365/boylesports) and that looks worth playing against a Stoke side that have won just three of their last 18 games away from home in all competitions.

BEST OF THE BETS

GOLD: Chelsea to defeat Arsenal, 9/5 (BET365)
SILVER: Birmingham and draw double chance v Stoke, 4/5 (BET365/boylesports)
BRONZE: Norwich on Asian Handicap +1.5 v Man Utd, 39/40 (BET365)
